In silence.

Tonight I turned off all my lights and sat in complete darkness. My ears had that strange tingling sensation and my mouth was dry.

The temperature of the room was moderate and the only sound to be heard was the delicate exhale. Placing my hand upon my chest, I could feel a distant heartbeat.
I felt the ache of my body weigh me down to the floor and I lost soon count of the time spent lying motionless.

A single tear rolled from my eye. I am tired. So, so tired.
